Siblings

Avery Daniels H4B

Many families enjoy having their other children present during birth. Some families are more comfortable with the kiddos coming shortly after birth to meet their new sibling. Whatever you decide, it is a great idea to educate your child as much as you feel comfortable regarding the pregnancy,  labor, birth, and newborn periods. If you choose to have children present at your home birth, please make sure you have an adult whose only responsibility is to tend to the child(ren) and their needs.
